Brett just loves his steam railways so he devised this route to the Bluebell Railway in Sussex. This route takes you to the Horsted Keynes Station (RH17 7BB). There is a cafe on the station. The route is 75 miles and fairly hilly.
This route is a great introduction to riding with a group. It is fairly flat and usually a gentle ride with not too much traffic. Coffee and cake in Ripley and back through the lanes to Cobham then Esher.
Dr David likes to ride beyond the local hills of the North Downs! Nearly 80 miles with three significant climbs. Coffee is always at the Devil’s Punchbowl (great views) at Hindhead. Return via Pitch Hill and Coombe Lane climbs. – right click and ‘Save link as’
