DV 2026 Segments – Langhurst Wood Road, Stan Hill (full climb), Anstie Lane Segments
Overview – Distance: 87 km, Climbing: 950 m
Café stop – Charlwood, Dorking.
Another “New for 2026” segment on this route, Langhurst Wood Lane is near Warnham. To get there, we go through Newdigate and Rusper. Go past Rusper and turn right along Green Lane. At the junction, head down Langhurst Wood Road, past the Biffa Waste Management site to the next right turn. The segment start is at the junction with Mercer Road that takes you to Warnham Station. Turn around and do the segment. The finish is at the sign for “Graylands” where you will find Torque Moto Cafe. Retrace your route to Rusper.
Head to Charlwood while digesting your “Limited Slip” bacon roll. At Charlwood turn towards Betchworth and on to Stan Hill. The Stan Hill (full climb) segment starts just after the first house on the right. The finish is at the Stanhill Court Hotel entrance as the road levels out.
Next we head west back through Newdigate and across the A24 big roundabout towards Ockley. Watch out for the right turn on a sharp left bend called Henhurst Cross Lane. Follow Henhurst until you come to a righthand bend in front of a pretty gabled house. Hit the gas when you see the house because the segment start is about 25m before the bend! The segment finish is at the top, just before two farm gates and a 20mph sign.
You’ll find yourself on Coldharbour near The Plough pub for coffee if you turn right at the top or turn left, and descend with caution to Dorking.
You may want to have coffee at the Old Clunker café in Dorking before heading to Leatherhead and home.
